Our Story
While bats remain central to our mission, they are part of a broader group of biodiversity at risk in Ghana. At BATlife Ghana, we are dedicated to conserving not only bats but also other threatened species and the habitats they depend on. By using bats as a key indicator of ecosystem health, we aim to protect a diverse range of biodiversity and ensure the long-term sustainability of Ghana’s natural environments.
Our Mission

We foster collaboration among Ghanaian and international students and promote a harmonious coexistence between humans and wildlife, ensuring the survival of Ghana’s unique biodiversity and and ecosystems.
Our Vision
Our vision is to establish Ghana as a country of biodiversity conservation, where bats and other threatened species thrive in a resilient ecosystem.
